Why should I hire an event photographer and/or videographer for my event? Can’t my phone take photos and video?
While photography and video on phones may be fine in some cases, a professional event photographer/videographer will deliver consistent, high quality media throughout your entire event. NH Creative brings experience to your event, not only with the photos we provide, but our expertise in how to work and navigate your event allows us to seamlessly integrate into your event team and meet your needs.
Another reason to hire NH Creative for your event is to give time back to your staff. Often event staff are managing multiple areas of the event, constantly putting out fires and trying to manage attendee needs. And because of this, event photography is often overlooked, which makes it harder for you to promote future events and show your attendees why they should attend for the first time or come back the next year. Let us do what we do best so that you can do what you do best, which is planning and executing engaging and exciting events!
What types of events do you work at?
We specialized in both larger and small corporate and community events, such as conventions, conferences, trade shows, expos, internal company meetings, community events, awards shows, galas, etc.
How many photographers/videographers do I get when I hire NH Creative?
At NH Creative, we are able to scale up and scale down to meet the needs or any size event. Whether you just need a single photographer or your event is large enough to warrant a team of photographers, videographers, and live editors, we work with you to meet the needs of your event and provide the best quality experience when you work with us. Our past experience has given us a good idea of how many photographers and/or videographers will be needed to properly cover events, but we are able to be flexible with your budget, needs and capacity.
What is your process for covering an event?
The process starts with a discovery call. During the call, we’ll go over the dates and schedule of the event, key moments to be captured, on-site/off-site events, other services that may be beneficial to your event, and the budget for event media.
After the discovery call, we will deliver a comprehensive proposal that includes information about NH Creative, past work examples, details about subcontractors and service providers, scope of work, key moments to be captured, and a timeline for the shoot from start to finish.
Once the proposal is accepted, we’ll send over an invoice and contract to lock in our services for your event. As we get closer to the event, we’ll want to have one last call with the you and our entire media team to go over the run of show, on-site logistics, last-minute changes or other key moments to be captured, and answer any questions that you have for us or we have for you.
On the day of the events or first day of the event, we usually arrive on site the an hour or two before the start of the event to prepare and be ready to start shooting when the event starts. If the event requires travel time or additional set up, such as when we film interviews or testimonials on-site, we may arrive the day before to set up, meet your team and talk through any day-of details.
During the event, the photographer or media team will out taking photos and/or video of the event. Communication is the key to success, so our team will be available via text if anything changes or we need to be covering a part of the event at a certain time. The morning after the event, or the morning after each day for longer events, we will deliver a selection of photos from the previous day for you to post on social media or send to attendees. Videos may also be turned around during or immediately after the conference if needed.
After the conference, the full gallery of photos and any videos from the conference will be delivered within seven (7) days of the event. If a quicker turnaround time is needed, this can be arranged and discussed prior to the event. The gallery can be sent out to attendees for them to download as well.
Do you provide other types of services other than event photography and video?
Yes! We can also provide a headshot booth or headshot lounge as a value add for your attendees. Attendees can schedule a time to get their headshot taken by a professional headshot photographer, and receive up to three (3) fully retouched headshots after the conference.
What is your turnaround time for event media?
A selection of photos (usually between 30 and 100) is always turned around the morning following the event or each day of the event. After the event, the full gallery of photos and video(s) is turned around within seven (7) days of the event.
If you are looking for a quicker turnaround time or same-day turnaround, we can provide an editor or team of editors to deliver photos and videos during the event for you to use.
I had a terrible experience with my last photographer or videographer. How do you guarantee my satisfaction when working with NH Creative?
Unfortunately, not all photographers or videographers deliver the same quality work and experience that we do here at NH Creative. During the discovery call, we ask a lot of questions do determine what matters to you for this event, what will move the needle for you, and what you need from us to make this a successful partnership. Throughout the event, we pride ourselves on strong communication to ensure we are delivering on the promises we make and capturing the key moments that make your event special. After the event, we keep in contact to ensure that the media we deliver lives up to your expectations as well as our high standards, and make any needed revisions.
We keep all of the raw files in case any revisions or re-edits need to be made. However, the full gallery of photos that we deliver does include all of the photos we chose to edit and were up to our standards in terms of composition, sharpness, lighting/color, etc. Raw photo files and video footage are also available to purchase in addition to the edited media.
